Look what we found growing in the garden! I think we will harvest this sweet little morsel and call him Evan.
Burr, Evan and I bundled up to go outside and see what dad was up to. These pictures were all taken several weeks ago. This tree in our backyard doesn't have a hint of green on it any longer.

Trip to Portland and Seattle

Last week Evan and I ventured to Portland to visit Grandparents and to attend my cousins wedding reception in Seattle. I have to admit that I did not take near enough photos!! I took one photo at the wedding reception before I ran out of memory space!! Lots of the pictures came out blurry....ooops.

Evan gets a lesson in walking from Trina's daughter Kaylee. He wasn't to sure about this. Emma, Trina's two-year old, is in the background.

Trina, Kaylee and Emma stand in front of the Carnegie Center in Oregon City. Trina and I walked over to the Firestation and the Firefighters offered us some kiddy hats. Evan loved his. Here he is later in the day still getting enjoyment from it.We visited Auntie Jana Bell at her new house in Portland. They are doing lots of landscaping in the backyard. The previous owners left them a Kiwi plant and a fig tree and both have fruit on them!! Evan hangs out in the hotel room with his friend the wooden spoon.Evan got to meet lots and lots of people and play with lots of kids. He loves being social.

He is watching the dancing queens (third cousins), while Hannah hangs out on the couch with Tator Tot.

Evan is very concentrated on his game of hitting the balloon with the vacuum cleaner part even with lots of commotion in the room.

Bathtime! Evan loves his baths.

After his bath, he's gets his jammies on and we head off to bed.Evan watches me brush me teeth with such enthusiasm that I thought I would let him try it minus the toothpaste of course.Evan is ready for our trip to Boise.Evan is showing his Grandma Bobby one of his favorite activities....finding all the goodies in my purse.Wow!! Look mascara...what a find.
