Elizabeth Jean Barrett celebrates her 1st Birthday

EJB turned 1 year old on June 10th, wow this month has really zoomed by!! Grandpa Barrett sent us these cute photos of Elizabeth at her birthday party! YUM cake!

Finally! Vacation Photos!

We traveled from the mountains of Sun Valley to the Oregon Coast in less than 8 hours and Evan was a great little trooper.

Walking through the park, the house in the background was our vacation rental,

and this is the view of the Siletz Bay from the deck. At high tide the low areas are covered with water. Sea Lions lounge on the sand bar across the bay.

Tillamook Air Museum.

We drove up the coast to see Donna and stayed at the Cannery Pier Hotel which is built on the hundred year old pilings of an old fish cannery. The vast expanse of water where the Columbia River meets the ocean lies on the other side of the hotel. From our balcany we watched huge ships coming in to port. At night you can hear the foghorns and see the lights of the ships as they pass the hotel. Maritime museam, Astoria, Oregon.
