Evan is getting into the swing of spring.....helping us with our spring cleaning! Before he sweeps he likes to pull all the dirt out of the flower pots.

"Rocket Man"

MOMS club fund raiser at Barnes and Noble. Evan is doing some sideshow antics. This is where Evan got his rocket tattoo which by the way is one of his new favorite words 'dadoo'.
Yay! I love opening the garbage can and pulling out its contents.
"Evan, no babies in the garbage can!" "Who me?" If there was a third photo, it would have been Evan eating a piece of bread that I threw away.

Photos

We just recently took a drive up to Lewiston, Idaho to visit Evan's Great Grandmother Crouch. Here we have stopped just outside Riggins at the Little Salmon River.

Evan meets the Easter bunny, he likes the egg but wants the big scary thing to go away.
Rex hides out on our hike at Mann Lake.

Rex gives Evan a balloon...Evan likes balloons!!

Evan is letting us know that he wants to get down from his Uncle's shoulders!

Bunny Ears.

This is Evan with one of his favorite objects...a bird house on a stick.

Here we are at Mom Club play group. We met at Artic Circle a couple of weeks in a row. Evan loves climbing around on the equipment and playing with the other kids.
Yes, he has been prematurely introduced to fast food and guess what...he likes french fries imagine that!

Bloggers! My sincerest apologies for not keeping up my part of the bargain. I have been so busy over the last month that I have hardly taken a picture. Here are a couple that my mom took while she watched Evan and a few from a hike we took at Niagra Springs a few weekends ago.

Evan turns One

The balloon says it all!! Evan loves the mylar balloons he sees floating in the grocery store so we decided to surprise him with one on his Birthday.

Unfortunately, Evan woke up with a fever and didn't feel very good, but the balloons made him smile! He was also very happy his grandparents made it over for a birthday visit!Milo liked his balloon too. Yummy!Evan playing with some of his gifts.

End of first year photos

'Grandma's and Grandpa's watch me do some sign language!'
Evan has been slowly increasing his sign language vocabulary. Here are a few of his favorites, orchestrated by me of course.

Yesterday it was warm and gorgeous outside. Evan and I spent some time investigating the trees, bushes and critters out there.

A ladybug. Evan thought it was very funny to watch the ladybug crawl around on my hand and arm.
Like father, like son. We opened three packages that came in the mail yesterday...what fun! Some where birthday presents Evan isn't allowed to see yet.

Whatever!

Swimming Lessons

Justin and Evan have been bonding at the pool during Evan's swimming lessons. Evan gets so excited before they get into the water that he starts squealing with glee.

Unfortunately we had to miss last week because we all three had colds.

Erica made this picture sideways, sorry about that. Baht-ooom!

Justin is trying to blame me for his mistake! Anyhow, the video is really so you can hear Evan's official first word (other than 'mom' and 'dada' of course). Guess what he is saying...there is a big hint in the video.
