Thanksgiving Week

Grandma and Grandpa LaFrenier just got some new appliances which left some large boxes to be explored. I'm trying to lure Evan in, he was a bit skeptical. The next day Evan explores the box on his own.Evan and Grandma G. Evan navigates stairs for the first time. He is trying to catch me, but he can't make it past the first step yet.Back to Boise, Justin and Evan were happily reunited and Evan got to open his first christmas present....a truck from Uncle's Jon and Sean!Coming Through!Aunt Katie and Cousin Elizabeth.
Elizabeth is learning how to sit on her own!Evan greets his cousin...with a kiss? We're not actually sure.
Evan says goodbye to his Grandparents Barrett.
On our way back to Kimberly we stopped to see the Warner family. Henry is really into his box chair...literally.
Henry gives us a little lesson in saving...which we know we could use!!
After spending the day shopping we made one last stop at the Burak's house to see little Reece. They played a bunch, then Reece went in for a kiss.

Evan is pooped, so we packed up and headed home...Evan slept the whole way!!!

Eucalyptus bubble bath! When we took Evan to the Dr. the other day I mentioned that he hadn't been sick yet. Well, I should have knocked on wood because two days later he caught his first cold and the snot has been flowing ever since. The bath helped a little, but the bubbles were messy and Evan was slippery! Introducing.....Susan! You have heard me talk about her...now here she is hanging with Evan on our recent trip to Pocatello. Susan directs the Massage Therapy Program at ISU, we made a trip over so that I could learn some fancy computer skills for my upcoming class.
Evan and I are packing up to head back home.

Halloween

Hello!! The night before Halloween Justin, Evan and I carved some pumpkins (the ones you saw growing in our garden). We went with a spooooky theme.Evan explores pumpkin innards for the first time.He digs it.Evan gets his own private mound of pumpkin guts.We did not dress him up for halloween, but we decided to put his fleece baby bunting on to keep him warm while we opened the door for trick-or-treaters.Evan had his well-baby check a couple of days ago. He weighs 18lbs 2ounces (in the buff) and is 29 inches long. According to our Dr.'s charts that puts him in the 90th percentile for both height and weight...good growing Evan. He must have just went through a growth spurt because it seemed like it took him forever to get to 27 inches....I must have been over measuring. Evan is playing with his 10 month old friend (I can't remember his name) at our API (Attachment Parenting International) meeting today.Afterwards we met dad for lunch.
